ANZ Philippines provides Wholesale Banking to the largest local corporates and multinationals with operations in Philippines. Member of the Country Executive Committee, led the country risk team to execute business in line with the Country Risk Appetite.

Taiwan

ANZ Taiwan was a full service commercial bank providing Wholesale Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management and Consumer Banking with over 3000 staff. After local incorporation I led the requires implementation and ongoing management of Basel, Credit Portfolio Management and Provisioning, Enterprise Risk Appetite and secured the bank’s external credit rating. During this time I was a member of the banks Risk Committee and ALCO.

Taiwan

Following ANZ acquisition of RBS in Taiwan, I was the in-country risk lead for integration of the combined business which included implementation of a new core banking statement and specialist banking systems. Accountable for not only project risk but also ensuring risk systems for credit and market risk were successfully implemented and general operational and technology risks controls of new banking processes were satisfactory post go-live.

Singapore

The ANZ Consumer Finance portfolio in Asia started with USD500M in lending and finished with over USD5B in 2010. I was accountable for the consumer finance risk management across the credit lifecycle including policy, analytics, acquisitions, fraud management, portfolio management and collections. I was also a member of the banks due diligence teams for M&A transactions in Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and Taiwan.
