Anthony R. Taylor is an equity partner of Aleshire & Wynder, LLP. He serves the City of South El Monte as City Attorney as well as serving as counsel for the Pasadena Community Police Oversight Commission. Mr. Taylor previously served as the City Attorney for Suisun City for 10 years and as the City Attorney for the City of Cypress for six years. He was named 2015 California Lawyer Magazine Attorney of the Year in the category of Municipal Law. Mr. Taylor has served in leadership roles in the firm including as general counsel of the firm and co-chair of the firm's litigation group. Mr. Taylor’s litigation experience includes arguing matters before the California Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and California Court of Appeal as well as bench and jury trial experience. Mr. Taylor also has over 20 years of experience in advising municipalities concerning police oversight.
