Maintain the SA Health network and server infrastructure, monitor hardware and rectify faults in a timely manner.Work with Engineering and Building Services for cabling and installation of network infrastructure.Liaise with Dimension Data, EDS/HPES and various other external vendors for network and server maintenance and repairs.Maintain ICT databases, documentation and equipment.Configure and maintain WINTEL servers for file, database, application and print services.Configure and Maintain Active Directory within the Health domain including user and computer account administration, login scripts and group policy.Maintain network security, virtual LANs, internet proxy (Surf Control) and special network requirements for medical equipment.Assist with the management of the SA Health SCCM infrastructure. I swiftly gained a solid understanding of the IT Account Manager role and a high level of proficiency specific to the job which allowed me to seek further challenges and complement my technical knowledge. I did this by joining the Network Support team and dedicating any available time to the duties of a Network Support officer whilst still balancing the obligations of an IT Account Manager. My time in Network Support allowed me to gain exposure to the varying facets of that role including; advanced management of the Health Active Directory, and server Operating Systems and hardware, and also considerable exposure to data cabling standards, data communications infrastructure and the protocols involved in managing the afore mentioned infrastructure. During my time assisting Network Support I also gained significant exposure to the various service providers with whom I constantly liaised with.

As the IT Account Manager for Nursing, Anaesthesia, Allied Health, General Services and Operating Room Services I covered the largest business units within the Royal Adelaide Hospital. The role of IT Account Manager essentially comprises of being the conduit between Information Technology Services and the business units I represent. This also requires high level support of applications and hardware. The IT Account Manager is often called upon to resolve issues that cannot be resolved by Level 1 and 2 teams.
