Manufacturing Plant Manager
CurrentPrepare, update, and communicate production schedule with the production team. Coordinate the daily activities of production and the production team. Organize workflow according to the workload to complete work orders by the required due date and to meet the customer's required delivery date. Maintain production control records. Provide information to the sales team and general manager in regards to delivery dates, schedules, and production delays. Monitor quality to ensure products meet customer expectations. Ensures all documentation (e.g. test data) is complete, is in accordance with defined requirements, is current, and is accurate for all assemblies. Works with Manufacturing Supervisor, Quality Assurance Supervisor, Principal Engineer, and Manufacturing Leads to coordinate the planning, start-up, and production of new products. Ensure that manufacturing conducts business in a safe, quality-focused environment while maintaining on-time delivery of products. Actively engages in problem solving of issues pertaining to obstacles in the manufacturing process created by quality and workmanship issues as well as engineering discrepancies. Manages and monitors labor hours in comparison to planned hours for all work orders. Quoting of manufacturing cost for future projects. Provide staff with the resources, applications, and information to perform their functions. Oversee staff scheduling, time off requests, and overtime.
