In this role I was responsible for managing and overseeing the Brisbane Domestic Cabin Crew Base and Lounges operation (with more than 500 frontline staff), to deliver key financial, customer, people and operational performance metrics. I also led the national people portfolio for 7,500 cabin crew, working with key stakeholders to develop and drive initiatives related to the performance review process, employee engagement, leadership development, recognition, and diversity and inclusion.I successfully opened 4 brand new Qantas Lounges between 2015-2019 with a combined $60 million investment, overseeing the entire customer and employee experience.Between 2014 and October 2015 I held the positions of Airport Customer Experience Manager (overseeing the day-to-day running of Qantas' Brisbane Airport operations) and Cabin Crew Manager, where I led a team of 100 Onboard Managers.In 2016 on behalf of Qantas and UNICEF, I was asked to accompany a small group of Qantas crew ‘Change for Good Ambassadors’ to South Africa to see the strong impact of UNICEF's valuable work in this region.Qantas is widely regarded as the world's leading long distance airline and one of the strongest brands in Australia.

In this role I managed the operational performance, employee welfare and continued development of a team of Line Managers and 180 cabin crew across multiple cabin crew bases in Brisbane, Gold Coast & Darwin.I also leveraged my background in communications to redesign Jetstar cabin crew’s internal communications collateral. Reporting directly to the Head of Cabin Crew, I developed monthly newsletters, a monthly Leaders teleconference, and onboard briefing materials targeting 3,500 cabin crew.Wholly owned by the Qantas Group, Jetstar Airways is Australia’s leading low fares network, and operates more than 5,000 flights a week to more than 85 destinations.

I was given the opportunity to draft copy for a monthly cabin crew newsletter, as well as compile operational memos and briefs targeting 7,500 cabin crew.
