This required to move check-in walls to a new area and properly 5s the new layout. The goal to this was to ultimately improve KPI’s such as sort throughput, while also improving recirc percentage and PPW within. Anthony was tasked to audit the walls and ensure all equipment is either replaced/fixed before Prime. So, they collaborated with IT and got all equipment needed on those walls to set up LGB3 and internal customers for a successful Prime. Drove the lowest Sort DPMO across all shifts in AFE1, being the Sort Quality POC for FHN’s. Specifically, by driving actions such as, engaging sorters and ensuring they understand sort standard work, collecting Sort DPMO data and seeing where the key areas of opportunities are, and by working alongside an AFE 2 Area Manager to create signage on rebin station feeds to remind associates to re-sync their stations.Enhanced AFE1's ability to clarify which totes properly belong in the bottom slots of the wall for heavy/large items which in turn eliminates the previous challenge of not knowing which tote to put these items in.
