Responsible for managing manpower, resources, budgets, equipment, & schedules. Overseeing design, installation, testing and servicing of fire monitoring, access control, and other low voltage systems.● Manage the design, installation and testing of all types of fire alarm and other low voltage systems.● Manage the regular inspections of fire systems to ensure that the systems and equipment continue to work per national/local laws and regulations and their manufacturer specifications.● Manage and assist in all new system installs to ensure work quality and design specifications.● Manage diagnostics of low voltage electrical problems or failures in assigned systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair.● Manage response to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.● Manage response to maintenance calls, troubleshooting devices using previous experience or by consulting device manuals. To repair non-functioning fire alarms and to restore them to original functionality or replace them if necessary.● Manage customer expectations and Instruct customers on proper device use and maintenance measures.● Ensure that all systems and devices installed meet all local and federal laws and building codes.● Provide written service reports at each service location completing all necessary paperwork with clients.● Manage out of state customer installations, including hiring local technicians/contractors and other service personnel to assist with, service calls, customer support and customer training.

Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area

Manages an international team of scientists and engineers in the ongoing efforts of the RAID program. Responsible for understanding all aspects of the RAID drilling program including mobilization, operation and demobilization of all five modules of the drill system. Also responsible for all aspects of the fluid management program including calculating drill fluid volumes while operating, troubleshooting all components and educating new and junior members of the program.● Works directly with lead Scientists, equipment supervisors and technical professionals.● Coordinates and hosts weekly Team Zoom meetings to ensure all project goals are being met and maintained. ● Coordinates weekly one on one meetings with external vendors and engineers to maintain strict quality control standards.● Oversees budget tracking and maintains all project tasks stay within the project budget baselines by reviewing vendor invoices.● Works with key stakeholders to manage project scope and ensures all tasks are completed on time.● Performs regular risk management assessments in an ever-changing environment to maintain project adaptability.● Perform, develop and produce quarterly project reports for overseeing authorities (i.e. NSF)● Performs in a professional manner as a University representative, maintaining good working relationships with the operator’s representative and other rig personnel.● Manages and interprets results of routine and specialized testing to provide technical solutions.● Demonstrates advanced ability to adequately prepare and track inventory of bulk products and equipment spares at the rig site based on the drilling program and anticipated conditions.● Demonstrates advanced ability to operate, maintain and optimize equipment including testing, separation, and waste management equipment.● Complies with health, safety, and environment regulations in all aspects of job performance.● Mentors and helps in the development of new and junior program members.

Responsible for managing, creating, revising, and implementing all aspects of the company Health, Safety and Environment policies. Including drafting Safe Working Procedures (SWPs), Job Safety Analysis programs (JSAs), Take 5 Worksheets, Risk Assessment Worksheets, task specific working permits (i.e. Hot Work Permits, Work at Heights Permits, etc.). ● Worked in coordination with the foreman, driller, and other rig technicians in the efficient execution of the drilling program● Ensured pre-job meetings were carried out for hazardous situations and non-routine operations.● Managed onboard equipment systems usage, participated in testing of system parameters and limits.● Managed the application of the Company Preventative Maintenance System program. Ensured equipment and systems were operational by setting priorities on equipment repairs.● Managed the organization and implementation of the activities of drilling and maintenance departments and ensured rig specific procedures were understood and observed by all personnel.● Managed rig compliance with OSHA/MSHA and certifying Regulatory Bodies’ requirements.● Understood and assisted operations with the Barge Engineer as related to offshore rig moves, mooring, station keeping and stability.● Promoted and maintained effective working relationships with inter-company departments, third party personnel and Client Representatives.● Consistently a role model to all team members on the drill rig.● Managed to resolve major safety issues (e.g. compliance, safety breaches, engineering solutions etc.).● Managed safety initiatives, policy implementation and decisions at the departmental level. ● Considered third party presence and regulatory authority requirements.● Helped implement measures to minimize risks and improve the overall work environment.
