About Anthony Velarde
When I was six years old I watched my older brother play video games for the first time and I knew I was hooked. From Nintendo 64, to GameCube, to PlayStation and finally to PC, I knew tech was something I wanted to be apart of. I learned everything I could in my teenage and young adult years on how a PC, games and websites functioned, I was enamored by the goal of having an idea and bringing into life. Through this life experience naturally my family turned to me for all of their tech needs. Even when I didn't know how to fix the problem I learned an important lesson: how to research, and through that got my nick-name "The Tech Guy". That is when I knew and when I felt fulfilled, and I realized that I could bring my passions of computers, problem solving and helping others into reality through coding. After self teaching for a few years I knew if I wanted to follow my dreams I would need education and now I am in the field I have always wanted to be in. Nothing is better than following your passion.
