Tryko is comprised of three primary facets: (1) owning/ operating apartment complexes; (2) owning/ operating nursing homes and rehabilitation centers; and (3) investing/ managing tax lien portfolios. Its headquarters are located in NJ, but it operates facilities from Massachusetts to the Maryland/ Virginia areas and westward into Illinois.

Active and diverse legal practice with a concentration on real estate matters: residential and commercial sales, property investments, title issues, foreclosures, environmental clean-ups, complex transactions, commercial/ residential leasing, land development. Also engage in business/ commercial law and litigation, foreclosure (tax lien foreclosures and mortgage fortgage foreclosures), employment law, and administrative/ regulatory law. Intensive representation of real estate developers, including transactional matters (contracts, sales, leasing, financing, title, etc.) along with developmental issues (land use, zoning, variances, environmental law, construction law). The firm also engages in corporate formation and governance, shareholder agreements, internal policy, regulatory affairs, contracts and oversight of outside counsel. With regard to employment law: employee agreements, restrictive covenants, non-compete agreements, non-disclosures and corporate internal policy. Practice before all levels of state and federal courts. Perform general counsel duties (part-time) for an international importer/ distributor corporation, a real estate development company and an IT company. Successfully argued Simon v. Cronecker, 189 N.J. 304 (2007) before the NJ Supreme Court, a landmark case regarding the acquisition of distressed real estate. Extensive motion practice and deposition experience. Skilled in providing training and seminars on workplace legal policy, along with experience (3 years) as an adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey (in Business Law).

Past experience from 1998 to 2005 includes attorney employment at two top tier, AV rated law firms in Philadelphia, PA (Kaplin Stewart) and Princeton, NJ (Hill Wallack), and a judicial clerkship with the NJ Office of Administrative Law (1997 to 1998). Areas of practice: commercial litigation, corporate law, franchises, foreclosure, real estate development, ERISA, insurance, labor and employment, public bidding/ procurement, administrative law, and representation of various government redevelopment agencies. After 7 years of law firm practice, I opened my own private law firm (2005) in Hamilton, NJ (Mercer County).

Conducted extensive legal research and writing for Administrative Law Judges on substantive issues involving government regulatory departments and agencies, including but not limited to Environmental Protection, Banking and Insurance, Treasury, Purchase and Property, Health, Labor, Civil Service (employment), Education, Casino Control Commission and Human Services.
