Responsible for supervising the operation of the accounting departments at Berea, KY (Automotive Windshield Plant) and Chillicothe, OH (Automotive Glass Distribution Center). Responsibilities included budgeting, cost accounting, internal controls, production reporting, financial analysis and reporting.

Responsible for preparation and cost estimates, production routing, budget preparation and month-end close activities. Also provided finance functional support for the Glass Satellite Facilities in Suwanee, Georgia; Newark, Delaware; and O’Fallon, Missouri.

Laporte, Tx

Responsible for ensuring the propriety and accuracy of the fixed asset accounts and related construction-in-progress accounts, preparation of customized management reports, reviewing and recording all clearinghouse transactions, and supervising LaPorte’s duty drawback contract accounts. Responsible for installing and customizing a new cost accounting system.
