Coordinate work scopes, review LEMs, issue P/O's, coordinate O/T, with our Contract workforce working within our area. Ensuring work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing cost savings where available.

As a Maintenance coordinator at Suncor Energy, I am responsible for ensuring our prime contractors within our department have the appropriate job scopes, up to date P/O's, current site passes and all relevent items to perform their duties, safely, proficiently and within the time frames set out for them.Ensure our prime contractors follow Suncors policies and guidelines, ensure our prime contractors own policies and guidlines are even more stringent than our own.

Supervised a crew of up to 20 employees, entered work time for employees, initiated and up dated vacation schedules, performed safety meetings and tool box talks with the crews, handled incident reporting, performed transactions within SAP, handled discipline with crew members when required, fostered a working mentorship with the crews.

Journeyman Interprovincial Red Seal Certified. Welded carbon steel pipe diameters 12" up to 48" , Welded CCO, Welded aluminium. Proficient in SMAW, GMAW and Tig welding.

Tailings Operations

Operated track dozers from Cat D-5's up to D-11, Komatsu P85 up to 475, Grapple loaders, Graders, front end loaders, excavators, side booms, Med 4A boat captain, Upgrade supervisor, Line patrol, SAP, Excel, PowerPoint
