Current- Responsible for setting the strategic direction of the library district as it relates to innovation, technological services and collection management.- Implementation of multiple projects to adapt library infrastructure to support more virtual and remote services, including: online library card signup, installing outdoor lockers for picking up materials at all eight physical library locations, implementation of a centralized processing and sorting system for library materials and implementation of a centralized collection repository.- Leading a strategy to provide at least one major service point to taxpaying patrons within one-mile of their home through a combination of external lockers in the community for picking up holds and small collection points in community locations, including an emphasis on providing free Wi-Fi access points to bridge digital gaps.- Sponsor of Data Strategy program including: a project focused on the employee digital experience through the implementation of Microsoft Teams and Workplace by Meta; a partner library in developing a library-focused data visualization and aggregation platform.- Participant in Colorado Smart Cities Alliance to partner with private and public partners in pushing accessibility and innovation, including a partnership with the Blind Institute of Technology to be the first library to implement EdgGuide wayfaring navigation.
