- Responsible for setting the strategic direction of the library district as it relates to innovation, technological services and collection management.- Implementation of multiple projects to adapt library infrastructure to support more virtual and remote services, including: online library card signup, installing outdoor lockers for picking up materials at all eight physical library locations, implementation of a centralized processing and sorting system for library materials and implementation of a centralized collection repository.- Leading a strategy to provide at least one major service point to taxpaying patrons within one-mile of their home through a combination of external lockers in the community for picking up holds and small collection points in community locations, including an emphasis on providing free Wi-Fi access points to bridge digital gaps.- Sponsor of Data Strategy program including: a project focused on the employee digital experience through the implementation of Microsoft Teams and Workplace by Meta; a partner library in developing a library-focused data visualization and aggregation platform.- Participant in Colorado Smart Cities Alliance to partner with private and public partners in pushing accessibility and innovation, including a partnership with the Blind Institute of Technology to be the first library to implement EdgGuide wayfaring navigation.

• Manage six direct reports and fourteen indirect reports across three departments: Web Systems, Patron-Facing Technology Assistance and Creative Spaces.• Manage a $1.1 million annual budget and more than a dozen vendor relationships, including the enforcement of multiple SLAs, troubleshooting problems and working between multiple vendors simultaneously to ensure systems integrate correctly.• Web Systems management includes: website CMS (650k+ unique page views monthly) and web strategy through UX studies, SEO and Google Analytics; integrated library system catalog (Sierra); room reservation system; SIP2 authentication protocols across more than 60 connection points; digital signage platform; standalone checkout units; RFID library material sorter system; and more than two dozen other various software systems.• Creative Spaces management includes: two multimedia recording studios, a Makerspace; a 39-seat theatre; and a dedicated staff (four plus one Supervisor) for providing programming and assistance in the spaces.• Patron-Facing Technology management includes: the patron-facing technology support team, consisting of eight Technology Specialists plus one Supervisor; the demonstration of new technology for patrons, such as smart devices, augmented reality and virtual reality; and the development of all employees’ technical skills and knowledge.• Completed projects include: the installation of 60 digital marketing screens across 6 libraries; the installation of a new room reservation system across 8 libraries, including two dozen digital room signs with live reservation information; the migration of integrated library system catalog to hosted servers; and the creation of a new department for staffing creative spaces.

• Supervised, coached, trained and managed six direct staff members in the planning and execution of events.• Scheduling coordinator of approximately 6000 yearly programs and events, large and small-scale, for eight libraries and external venues in the district, with over 135k program attendees yearly.• Developing a grassroots marketing strategy in conjunction with Communications and Web teams, average program attendance increased by 10% during hire through targeted marketing campaigns; staff event trainings; and data analysis of trends, demographics and patron interests.• Project manager for multiple large-scale events reaching more than 1500 attendees and on-site facilitator/delegator for dozens of author, technology and performing arts programs.• Developed and executed close inter-departmental projects, including a curated content system for categorizing events and a community theatre hosting initiative.• Developed, promoted and hosted technology trade show events acknowledged by American Library Journal and the American Library Association at locations that included TEDxMileHigh, TEDxRiNo, The Denver Art Museum, City of Centennial and STARZ Entertainment.
