My first York Symphony Orchestra experience was playing as trombone soloist with the orchestra in 1998 as the Concerto Competition Winner, which fueled my desire for orchestral music. I then attended the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and successfully auditioned and performed with professional orchestras on 3 different continents for the next 20 years. After shifting my focus to orchestral management, I was given the opportunity to work with the York Symphony Orchestra as the Concert Operations and Personnel Manager, which allowed me to connect with regional musicians and a dedicated and hard working staff. As the new Executive Director, I am now looking forward to connecting more with the symphony board, patrons, donors and the community. The York Symphony Orchestra has been thriving for the past 90 Years and has elevated its artistry and musicianship in the past 10 years, thanks to the leadership of the music director, Lawrence Golan. I am honored to be entrusted with the responsibility of Executive Director of the York Symphony Orchestra, and I am excited to lead the vision and continue to ascend the organization into the future.
