• Responsibilities include cost and schedule analysis, time and utilization studies, forecasting and efficiency reports, staffing plans, progress presentations, and assisting Superintendents, and Foremen with various ship and ship manufacturing challenges.• Industrial Engineering related projects utilize Access, Excel, Visio, and PowerPointo Conducted a cost analysis on a specific design improvement on one of the ships.o Oversaw areas of “Ship Building for Future Improvement” initiatives• Shipyard Projects – Three studies were implemented that resulted in an estimated 5 people in work through process improvements and ROI studies. Several process improvements were implemented to improve the throughput in certain storage areas.
