Today I head up Group Sustainability at NKT. NKT has a central and unique role in connecting society to a greener world through its power cable technology. The expansion and upgrade of the electricity grid globally is a prerequisite for us achieving net zero emissions latest 2050. However, the effort needed to do that in a sustainable way is very much underestimated.Between 2016 and 2024 I was responsible for driving the sustainability agenda at the ROCKWOOL Group, In this time ROCKWOOL received numerous sustainability recognitions and awards for their work in creating long-term sustainability impact. I have advised our Board, CEO and SVPs on numerous topics within sustainability including inter alia handprint metrics, Science Based Targets, taxonomy, TCFD, CSRD and CSDDD and I have together with Investor Relations driven our ESG agenda.I hold a BA(Hons) in Urban Planning from University of West of England and a MSc in Environmental Planning from Roskilde University. I have had various positions in Coloplast, COWI, where I was House consultant for Intel EMEA and Biogen Idec for a number of years.
