Hello! I'm Anthony Abeja (he/him/his), and I enjoy making information accessible the purpose of education. I do this through problem-solving and improving the efficacy of programs, systems, and services. For the past three years, I've proudly worn the hat of a Trainer at The Posse Foundation. Here, I've had the privilege of recruiting, training, and supporting dynamic student leaders as they matriculate onto campus and become leaders in the workforce. I regularly utilize dynamic facilitation skills and emergent strategies to connect students to resources and inspire them to tap into their leadership potential. Building meaningful connections with students is the heartbeat of my role. Especially for students with marginalized identities, the work of supporting them to lead and claim their space is an honor I cherish. My professional journey has taken me through the realms of education, community organizing, library and information sciences, construction and development, and multimedia and audio production. Throughout, I've honed my talents in organization, problem-solving, and crafting effective solutions to propel organizations toward their goals.I'm excited to connect with fellow change-makers to envision and craft a more accessible future! Beyond work, you'll find me immersed in books, pouring thoughts onto paper, finding peace in meditation, and indulging in McDonald’s breakfast (because who can resist?). Here's a fun tidbit: I once embarked on a weeklong silent meditation retreat.Top Five Strengths: Responsibility, Empathy, Imagination, Vibes, WooMyers-Briggs: INTJLet's connect!
