Generated customer leads and potential strategic partners at the 2010 and 2009 Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) meetings.• Led and managed programs to develop DNA and RNA aptamers for treatment of botulinum neurotoxin exposure and for improved cancer diagnostics. Developed rapid aptamer selection procedure.• Founded Innovative Metabolism Inc. (IMI) which developed technology that enables direct fermentation of biomass to ethanol and specialty chemicals without the use of enzymatic or chemical pretreatment. The company was spun out from PSI in Oct 2011 and operated until March 2014.
