The experiences during my time spent in the United States Army have allowed me to transition into the civilian sector and identify areas of improvement that enhance any team's ability to have a positive impact, and thrive in an environment that welcomes challenge. Domestic and international businesses, as well as the cultures that drive them, are keys to the always fluid world economy. People, and their given skill sets, are the real indicator of a any organization's success and failure.During my time as a procurement professional, I have been involved with multiple global cost savings initiatives, trend/spend analyses, and supplier evaluation/selection. These actions have all contributed to profitability, accomplishment of annual goals, and maintaining focus on the mission of providing a quality product and exemplary customer service. The ability to be an empathetic communicator has allowed me the opportunity to personally train mission essential supply chain members to use EDI based order management technology to boost efficiency, strengthen business partnerships, and establish key areas for process improvement beneficial to all parties.
