Managed two simultaneous projects for the Central Administration division of Medical Oncology: Workday Implementation and Centralization.Workday Implementation – The University of Washington transitioned it’s financial software for the first time in 50 years to Workday, which impacted Central Administration and the seven disease groups that we manage.- Became the SME for all things Workday related in order to serve as the primary knowledge source for the division- Led weekly division meetings to distribute information received from the central implementation team, as well as collect and address issues or problems that the disease groups were experiencing.- Worked with the shared environment to come up with work arounds for issues that the current Workday implementation are not structurally able to resolve as intendedCentralization – Central Administration helps to manage seven different disease groups, with each group having their own individual financial analyst. A decision was reached to centralize the tasks being completed by these financial analysts, allowing for specialization and efficiency improvements.- Identified all existing workflows that were appropriate for centralization of effort.- Led discussions with each disease group about their existing processes and how the centralization rollout would function.- Created forms and process documents for the centralized disease groups and centralized financial analysts to follow in order to create consistency.

Managed, iterated on, and created custom manual monthly billing processes for enterprise users.Answered billing inquiries from both the account team and the customer and used SQL queries to pull data, evaluate the information, and created an impact analysis for any potential issues.-Transitioned into a role of project manager, scoped out projects to improve the efficiency or accuracy of processes my team was responsible for, got buy-in from leadership, and work cross-functionally with a variety of teams in order to complete the project.- Worked closely with engineers to help provide context to the issue, allowing them to build tools and enhancements that fully resolved the pain point or issue.-Trained three new analysts and transitioned the manual billing processes I managed to them while ensuring each process continued to be completed consistently.
