In my role as an AI Student Researcher, I support faculty in researching artificial intelligence applications for falls prevention detection in the AI for Health Equity Lab. Collaborating with the Center for Optimal Aging, the Center for the Innovative Workforce, and the School of Technology and Innovation, I contribute to an AIM-EAD grant-funded project aimed at advancing health equity through AI-driven health solutions. Key responsibilities include:• Research and Analysis: Engaging in research efforts to develop and validate AI models, using data analysis to support hypotheses related to falls prevention among diverse populations.• Software Development: Developing Python-based code for a pilot application that tests project hypotheses, focusing on real-time data collection, processing, and predictive modeling to enhance detection accuracy.• Documentation and Team Collaboration: Documenting research progress and key findings from weekly team meetings, contributing to collaborative decision-making and ensuring clear communication among project stakeholders.Additionally, I perform other duties as assigned to support the project and enhance research outcomes. This role allows me to apply my technical and analytical skills to improve health equityoutcomes through innovative AI applications.

As a Fall Technology Support Student Worker at the Ballston Campus, I supported faculty in various grant-funded initiatives, including cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI) summer camps, research projects, and the establishment of a CyberClinic. I assisted in managing camp logistics, provided mentorship, and proctored hands-on lab activities. Additionally, I collaborated with faculty from the Center for Innovative Workforce and the School of Technology and Innovation on research projects focused on cybersecurity, AI, and technology innovation, contributing to data collection, analysis, and preparing materials for research presentations. In the CyberClinic, I played a key role in setting up and running a Security Operations Center (SOC) to offer cybersecurity services to local businesses, ensuring smooth operations and effective tool implementation. My role required strong technical skills, problemsolving, and the ability to work collaboratively with both faculty and students to achieve project goals.

• Working on using artificial intelligence/machine learning to gather and analyze data on security threats, including disinformation, on a series of social media platforms (such as Instagram, Twitter)• Research the terms of service and user access legal requirements as well as collect data on actual social media threats and threat exercises.• Apply machine learning algorithms to analyze the data

• Collaborated in Cyber/Red Team training which resulted in education of SSH tunnels, beacon creation, phishing, pivoting and lateral movement.• Tested and certified in Red Team Apprenticeship training to become Red Team Operators.• Engaged in scenarios out of the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) to achieve real-life experience in the Cyber Security field.• Utilized programs such as Battlegrounds (Simulated Network), Cobalt Strike, Hack the Box to safely test hacking abilities.
