The overall purpose of my role is to ensure effective preparations for set up and breakdown of the site enabling us to be event ready each year of the Championships.I am the budget holder for Equipment Purchase, Equipment Hire, Contract Services, Vehicle Lease, Repairs and Renewals, Disposables, Cleaning Materials, and Contract Services.Working alongside contractors I help manage the build of the temporary structures and make sure all relevant services, water, power, and carpentry requirements are in place. I design and create the drawings for each structure in line with HSE requirements. In line with the build schedule, I create and manage the Installation and de-rig of the following.Refrigeration, Install of Containers, Kitchen Equipment Hire, Coffee Machines, Furniture, CCG, and Waste Compactors. I am responsible for the successful operation of the loading bay in line with all client and business needs.I liaise with key account holders making sure all their brands’ requirements are met.I manage the Disposable and Reusables Operation (Reusable Cups, Food Containers, Napkins, Straws etc.) for the Championships from the sourcing stage to purchasing and delivery. Year after year I will look at the whole range to ensure that we have the most sustainable, best in class options. In 2021 The strawberry carton that I helped source was made 9 miles from the main grounds made using FSC certified board.Since taking on the role 4 years ago I have a real passion for ensuring continuous improvement and innovation. Since 2017 I have streamlined our distribution of disposables and eliminated millions of single use plastics from our lines.

Twickenham Stadium

I worked as part of a team ensuring the smooth running of the conferences and events held at the stadium. This involved anything from running bespoke intimate dinners in the Twickenham Cellar to pitch-side BBQs to 3000 delegates over three days utilizing all of our conference space. I was also involved in the match days making sure the hospitality suites were ready, during the RWC we produced 50,000 covers over the 6 weeks. We also would constantly be working on projects to innovate and improve our services, trialing new products in the industry with anything from popcorn to mobile charging solutions.
