Work with HOA legal council on legal matters including lawsuits and governance of controlling documents.

Core focus of the creation of the Stratford Residential Land Finance Fund. This includes; capital raising efforts, investor presentations, analysis of the business plan, investment strategy, financial projections and market determination specifically designed for real $250MM estate equity/debt fund platform.

Responsible to execute the corporate objectives directly related to the Real Estate Services Division including: Providing advisory services to financial groups – private equity, hedge funds, banks and other financial institutions. Develop a real estate investment/funding platform as a direct source of equity capital for both Comstock and other 3rd party builder/developers. Structure, negotiate and secure equity & debt capital for builders/developers for specific individual real estate transactions and recapitalizations. Provide analysis, valuation(s), underwriting and investment strategies for potential real estate acquisitions. Review real estate portfolios or individual assets and provide disposition strategies/analysis in an effort to maximize profits or capital recovery for owners. Prepare business plan presentations and offering memorandums for capital investment(s).

Focused on developing alternate funding sources and closing on land acquisition transactions. Assit in developing different capital/investment sources via Banking and alternate investment sources. Structure capital deals and develop working relationships with lenders and alternate sources of financing. Review and approve financial analysis (proformas) for deals. Develop and produce marketing tools and deal packages to attract funding sources.

Responsible for overseeing Hearthstone's $1 billion residential investment operations and portfolio nationwide. Accountable for the development, quarterly adjustments and implementation of individual asset business plans, monetization strategies and internal operational oversight.Managed an investment team of asset managers and homebuilding partners in the direct disposition of the portfolio individual assets.Assisted in the coordinating of various parts of the Hearthstone organization; legal, finance, accounting, due diligence and project management, to ensure a smooth functioning, effective and efficient processes are achieved between internal departments, venture partners and reporting to investors. Senior Originations/Business Development Officer Responsible for originating new investment opportunities for Hearthstone in the Western United States. This includes the core markets located in California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, Hawaii and the Pacific Northwest.Since 1999, accountable for the direct origination of over 150 residential subdivision transactions, totaling 40,000+ units, with total financial commitments exceeding $6 billion. This includes expanding into ten (10) new housing markets and the establishment of twelve new homebuilding/development partners. Developed new strategies and marketing plans for originating homebuilding and development opportunities for the Western Region.Acted as lead negotiator on a variety of residential financing structures with public and private homebuilders/developers including: homebuilding joint ventures (acquisition, development and construction) structured lot options (land banking) and unentitled land financing.
