In order to broaden my scope and get my feet wet I decided to work alongside CMWN. CMWN provides training for people who have lived experiences that relate to trauma informed and integrated forms of treatment. It is also a non-profit that advocates reform in the criminal justice system for mental behavioral health research to be utilized in such a way that resources are more available for citizens to help foster self-driven plans in their trauma recovery plan via, aka W.R.A.P. < < Wellness Recovery Action Planning.

My main duties are to research, sell and inform customers about rare fragrant and edible tropical plants. I provide landscape architecture for clients as a side practice, art. I assess and diagnose customers plants in person and through our email system. Here I suggest growing strategies and best practices for nurturing plant growth. I also organize the nurseries plant inventory, manicure, market, sell and oversee the shipping of the plants we offer for our customers.

While in the process of considering-moving from Colorado to Florida I took a job working at HMS HOST that was offered to me when I landed at RSW Airport in Florida. It was a unique contract with HMS Host. As a Barista I handled cash, made beverages and provided a clean, friendly and productive work environment for my customers and fellow staff. It was fun, It was interesting, I looked at it as a sociological experiment and art/research project where I explored my personal ability using the knowledge I acquired as a therapist in order to advocate customer satisfaction all while taking note of the stigma's surrounding public perception, their expectation's and how consumerism, addiction and therapy are all interconnected. In this process I seek to provide a strength-based approach to each person where active listening and engagement can form a connection of openness. I really enjoy this work. Some may say it is intense work. However, these thoughts and feelings that lead to “not having conversations” due to the intensity of the reality of grief, abuse and or feelings of hopelessness often lead to people’s sense of helplessness and suicide ideation. We need to communicate our thoughts and feelings surrounding death in order to live life. Thing is, if you believe you can, you will. I wanted to promote a local talent and was offered a gig to write for this Magazine after expressing interest in sharing my work with others. So, I wrote this article while I was in this darkened room to help promote the band PrettyMouth. I did it merely to promote the band. My writing style is quite unique and this was my first published Music review for the State of Colorado outside of all the live music and gallery video work I had done In Athens, Ga and Asheville, NC.

I went out on Friday The 13th to support some local talent and someone offered me an opportunity to write an article that night. So, I wrote this review in the dark.. Yellow Scene did publish it. My style of writing is personal and unique. Authenticity, Sincerity and Liberation while documenting is a part of my creative process when I work towards providing "wisdom" to the masses.

After a year and a half of providing alternative therapies for a client who suffered a stroke and as a result was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury as well as paralysis of her left side, I am proud to inform anyone reading this that my client has regained cognitive awareness of her life, finances and medical needs. Independence and autonomy cannot be confined to or repressed. And, in this case "letting go" of said "Power" was and is so salient to re-integrating the client back into the workforce, but more importantly the "Life Force" of recovering via her own will. Will always negates defeat, W.A.N.D.

At this time I continued a strength-based approach to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of my client's substance-use/ trauma story so that she did not feel debilitated by the trauma surrounding the hemiplegic diagnosis of her stroke. Although she had complete paralysis of her left-side she was a survivor. Being hopeful, having a sense of humor and finding positives in her adversity and willingness to have a "safe place" was fundamental during this stage of "action". Our personal acronym for self-empowerment was & still is "The W.A.N.D" : Will. Always. Negates. Defeat

I am responsible for verifying and registering automobiles, motorcycles, boats, ect... I help maintain, organize (drive) and allocate vehicles prior to their assigned auction date. I work with inspectors to maintain a time-efficient flow to the day and drive vehicles to a sale by prioritizing tasks and staying on par with schedules and other processes. I take pride in running an operation that is safe, responsible and diligent.I also created the 1st Manheim Monthly Newsletter where I write and design a monthly "Employee Spotlight" section where I interview an employee and write an article about their achievement. As a Senior in High School I worked with California Closets and built custom closets designed specifically for the clients needs and installed them at their home or office. I even got to design some furniture for Elton John and members of the Atlanta Braves.

Between my freshman and junior years in High School I worked at the Commack Public Library and was responsible for organizing and maintaining the collection of books, periodicals and music. I also helped assist people with their research and was responsible for making copies and providing administrative aid to the head librarian when compiling Commack's first software library.
