I am a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, with over 20 years’ experience in the motorsport, automotive and rail sectors.I specialise in finite element (structural) analysis, design optimisation and durability testing. I also have extensive experience in data analysis for vehicle load derivation.As a senior member of the technical design function at Aston Martin F1 Team, I am responsible for delivery of design analysis and structural optimisation of components and assemblies to strict deadlines, in the time-critical environment of Formula 1.I am proud to have previously worked for the engineering teams that won the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship with Brawn GP, and record-breaking World Championship titles with Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
