I developed and managed the Development & Community Outreach Project which enhanced the work of Calgary's Youth Justice Committees (YJCs) by securing on their behalf, access to youth-focused programs, services and opportunities for community service. The project also involved providing YJCs with an efficient means of finding appropriate combinations of the above to assign young people going through the YJC Program.I served as the point-man for approx. 350 volunteers who comprise the Youth Justice Committees in Calgary and consulted with the Cochrane, Okotoks and Airdrie YJCs. Partnerships were established with 27 youth-serving organizations in Calgary that offered programs, services, community service & volunteer options, making more than 40 opportunities available.To make the necessary information (scheduling, contact info.) universally available to YJCs I created the Database of Opportunities & Resources (DOORs). It is a web-based application that is accessible to volunteers from anywhere an Internet connection is available. DOORs also makes sharing ideas among the YJCs possible, serving as a repository for essay ideas and projects. I also secured more than $250,000 in funding, donations and gifts in-kind to Calgary Youth Justice during my tenure.

I led the operational streamlining, policy redevelopment and data-tracking processes of the Volunteer Driver, Wig Loan, Westin Accommodation and Financial Assistance programs.
