As a seasoned leader in government affairs and political advocacy, I am dedicated to driving positive change and making a meaningful impact. Currently, as the Director of Governmental Affairs & Political Advocacy for the Ohio Nurses Association, I work collaboratively with organizational leadership to set and execute legislative goals and build bipartisan support for key bills and rule changes. Additionally, I serve as a liaison with key partners and research state policy issues that impact the nursing profession, healthcare, and workplace standards.In my previous role as the Director of Communications & Community Engagement for the Franklin County Auditor’s Office, I directed the work of multiple teams to improve accessibility, accountability, and transparency to the residents and businesses of Franklin County. With a strong background in labor relations, I served as the Executive Vice President for SEIU District 1199 WV/KY/OH, where I developed strategy and drove work to achieve organizational goals while centering justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion. In prior roles, I established bipartisan relationships with elected officials, developed communications budgets, and directed communications strategy and execution for various internal initiatives, external campaigns, and coalition groups.My diverse experience and proven track record of success have equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive change and create positive outcomes in any role I undertake.
