I'm an experienced food systems planner looking to use my background in urban planning, environmental studies, and permaculture design to create a better food system. I have had experience in a variety of different areas, including urban agriculture design and implementation, grant writing, GIS mapping and planning, research analysis, community organizing, graphics, and communications. I am a lifetime learner and enjoy any opportunity to gain more knowledge and expertise in my field. I've always admired those who take the time and dedication to truly gain expertise and that inspires me to work towards the same goal. I have pursued certification as a Permaculture Designer, Master Gardener, and beekeeper through various accredited entities. All of these skills help me to build a more robust food system in my community. I am excited to see what other opportunities will arise in the future that will make me a more knowledgeable stakeholder in the communities I serve.I want to be at a place that lets me use all of my skills in a way that helps drive the mission or project forward, connecting people and bringing them to the table. It is my goal one day to found or run my own organization that focuses on urban agriculture, design, and food systems to create social enterprise.
