As a graduate student and researcher at BU's Performance and Energy Aware Computing Lab (PEACLab) advised by Prof. Ayse K. Coskun, I was responsible for conducting research into the latest innovations in cloud analytics, binary analysis, serverless computing, and applied machine learning. I worked both independently and with a team of graduates, post-docs, and professors in a fast-paced and demanding laboratory environment. I gave several talks and published papers on my work at top-tier conferences and a high-impact journal.

As the teaching assistant for BU's graduate-level course titled "Introduction to Embedded Systems," I worked closely with the instructor to develop and grade lab and homework assignments, help students grasp key embedded systems concepts during office hours, and occasionally teach full lectures myself. I led the effort to update the equipment and content used for the course's hands-on labs, which required an in-depth understanding of embedded development boards, the Linux kernel, and device driver development.

Was responsible for developing service level indicator (SLI) monitoring solutions to support the rollout of the latest major release of RedHat's container orchestration platform, OpenShift. Worked on a fast-paced, global, agile development team with an emphasis on high-quality code and documentation befitting a large-scale open source project. My work required an in-depth knowledge of Prometheus and PromQL as well as experience with CI and GitOps workflows and containerized app development.

Was responsible for leading a team of 35+ students in the design, development, analysis, and test of our Lotus liquid propellant rocket engine and Starscraper flight vehicle. I worked closely with Boston University staff, faculty, and other executive board members to ensure that both day-to-day and long-term team operations continued to run smoothly and advanced the state of the art of collegiate rocketry. Primary roles included leading the development of a robust and extremely fault-tolerant ground support electronics and software system, ensuring personnel safety during on- and off-site testing operations, recruiting and developing new team members, and representing the interests of the group at university functions and conferences.

Tasked with developing and maintaining custom Java-based control software suite for the Boston University Rocket Propulsion Group (BURPG). Software is highly multi-threaded, fault-tolerant, and fail-safe in order to control ground filling and testing operations for a +30ft space-bound liquid rocket. Managed a small team of junior developers. Work required expansive knowledge of engine, ground support equipment, and launch & test operations. Also managed team support technologies like SVN, Trac, and web servers.
