I have an extensive diverse background in both creative thinking and visualization and logical thinking as an executive and technology consultant. I am a visual storyteller in the process of solution design and architecture; a unique communicator that makes the process of envisioning and presenting sophisticated complex technological solutions far more effective; from the executive level to the engineer. Creative thinking is the process of coming up with new ideas or new approaches, while Logical Thinking provides a method of developing the vision into reality. In my history of building businesses, I became the liaison between the vision, and/or visionary and the investment interest, building and presenting sophisticated processes and technologies as a visual story that depicts how to achieve the valued outcome and goal. I’ve been a senior technical consultant since 1998, with the past eleven-years working in solution architectures for large complex systems that includes many moving hardware and software components, encapsulating them to meet the desired objectives. Many of my solutions include wide area deployments that include wireless, video security, AI/ML development and process validation for public transportation, education, utilities, manufacturing, government and most recently for global amusement parks.I’ve been working with digital video since 1995, with experience in video analytics; extracting intelligence metadata from video for additional value to these multifaceted systems. As a published author, I wrote McGraw-Hill’s Build Your Own Server and Elsevier’s best-selling Digital Video Surveillance and Security, now in its second edition. I’ve also presented at conferences on video analytics, network security and my multi-dimensional view for troubleshooting city-wide networked video for the International Security Conference and Exposition (ISC), in Las Vegas, and also provided the Keynote Speech "The Future of CCTV" at CCTV World Conference in Sydney Australia.
