I pride myself on the ability to not only assist clients with day-to-day legal questions but, also, navigate them through all phases of complex litigation when necessary. I am dedicated to effective, early resolutions of disputes but, when that has not been possible, I have prevailed in each and all of the matters for which I served as trial counsel. My intellectual property practice ranges from drafting and negotiating various contracts to strategizing and filing trademark applications, as well as litigating infringement and misappropriation claims related to patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets.In the construction industry, I am focused on public contracting issues, oversight of the bidding process, delay claims, insurance defense, and contractor licensing compliance.These skill sets have allowed me to serve clients in the new and upcoming craft beer and legal cannabis industries wherein I additionally advise on entity formation, regulatory compliance, and lease negotiations.I joined the firm in 2009 as a Law Clerk and, eventually, became an Associate and, then, Senior Attorney before being elevated to Member. I'm originally from Massachusetts, but am enjoying the opportunity to practice in San Diego. In my free time, I enjoy golf, softball, and the vibrant local craft beer scene.
