Terry Student Consulting is the premier consulting-focused organization at the University of Georgia - it is entirely student-managed and has produced countless successful graduates that have gone to work for many prestigious consulting firms around the globe. - Completed dozens of case interview workshops, resume and professional development programs, and career advancement exercises each fall as part of the club's curriculum for members.- Attended countless information sessions, coffee chats, and network events hosted by some of the largest and most well-known consulting firms around the globe such as Bain, McKinsey, Deloitte, ISG, FTI, etc.Served as a member of three engagement teams by helping local and Atlanta-based small business achieve strategic and financial goals each spring semester from 2022 - 2024.- Spring 2022 - Worked alongside a UGA student-business owner by supporting his company, Atlanta Sneaks. Helped create a model to forecast the most efficient price target given specific product parameters, assisted in the creation of an inventory tracking method to reduce losses, and worked with a team to direct him in changes to his social media marketing strategies.- Spring 2023 - Joined a team in support of MORE Marketing Agency located in Athens, GA, where we developed a new client acquisition strategy for the firm and applied marketing techniques to grow their presence both local and state markets.- Spring 2024 - Partnered with Athens Bagel Co., located in Athens, GA, to support them through their efforts to reopen following their closure in May 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and a property damage incident. Learned the process of bagel baking and crafted a strategic outline alongside my team to guide them through the reopening process, specifically elements such as dynamic pricing and optimal hours of operation.
