The management functions of LGP were absorbed into the EDL Group structure at that time. In ten years with LGP I undertook three roles commencing as the CFO in 2006, transitioning to overall control of the Finance and Retail function in 2011. This dual role incorporated the activities of a CFO as well as the control of marketing, maintenance and development of customer relationships, regulatory, legal and financial dealings with the various participants in the Wholesale Electricity Market in WA, including the Australian Electricity Market Operator and its predecessor, the WA Independent Market Operator, Western Power, Clean Energy Regulator and other market based entities.In 2016 I was appointed CEO with full responsibility for the financial well-being, direction and control of the company's activities, while maintaining active participation in the administration and retail functions described above.In the period leading to the takeover I was the prime point of contact in the Due Diligence process for the acquisition by the new owners and assisted in a smooth transition and realisation of a substantial economic benefit to the outgoing shareholder.
