My best friend almost died of cancer and was bankrupt by medical bills. I wanted him to come on spring break with my college ultimate frisbee team, so I designed some t-shirts, a website, and maxed out a student credit card to print the shirts. I threw them in my car along with him, and had him sell shirts during the tournaments. They were a huge hit, and I ended up becoming the leading online US retailer of ultimate frisbee gear for a few years.

Conducted data analysis for remote climate data sensing. Prepared data for research involving the effects of urban heat islands. Developed web based cirriculum managment solution. Formatted articles for journal publication and created custom graphics for publication and presentation.

I taught about 300 people to play ultimate frisbee from scratch in one summer, and founded a couple tournaments. At least one of my players has won a college national championship and is now a professional player, Robert Dulabon.

As the UW Student Job Fair Coordinator I interfaced with companies seeking to employ recent graduates, and single -handedly organized a major event attended by both students and employers. This was a position I held during my first year as a graduate student before taking a research assistantship, and achieved the highest level of student attendance in the 10+ history of the event.
