Responsible for all aspects of Information Technology administration for the Museum of Anthropology (MOA). I am the subject matter expert for the museum and responsible for implementation of projects in coordination with MOA staff, UBC IT, and thrid-party vendors. Assigned to the Front-End Efficiency's Pilot (FEEP) offices for both the Vancouver and Surrey.Primary Assignment:Support Crown Counsel, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants in the technical complexities of electronic disclosure for large, complex files. Troubleshoot and resolve file specific issues that impede effective case management. Provide short-term issue solutions and workarounds to assist with court requirements (it is difficult to ever tell a Judge, "No").Develop a Microsoft centered solution for managing and organizing all evidentiary material received from police and sent to defense Counsel. This solution is to track and organize thousands of individual files for each major case managed across the province.Regular duties included:• Liaise with Ministry-level and Provincial-level Help Desks.• Provide contractors with on-site assistance and support.• Assisting users with effective utilization of electronic workplace tools to assist with case preparation.Secondary Assignment:Develop, recommend, implement, and document technical best-practices for individual offices and province-wide technical upgrade initiatives. Provide advice on IT best practices and guidelines to end users and management; keeping a specific focus on information security.Associated projects include:• Develop education & training materials for end-user technical training.
