- Coordinates the usage and scheduling of the main showroom and other entertainment lounges and ensures consistent technical support of all meetings, activities and entertainment Acts as Stage Manager during shows, operates rigging show control console and calls cues to stage crew & ensures that the integrity of the production shows are maintained. Attends department staff meetings as required and disseminates notes or important information to appropriate staff members. Also, may be required to attend technical meetings with the ship’s electricians, facilities manager, shoreside management, contractors and vendors, Provides on-the-job training to staff members to strengthen their current performance and to prepare them for possible advancement where applicable. Schedules, attends and oversees all rehearsals and performances in conjunction with the Dance Captain, musical director and/or onboard technical staff, combined or individually. Must be familiar with all aspects of the budgets which are overseen by the Stage and Production Manager & keep a close record of the spending for the year to try and ensure that all of the monies in their accounts are spent by the end of the fiscal year without going over budget. Sees that all inventories are being maintained and updated for the entertainment technical areas as outlined in SQM. Notifies the shoreside technical support team via e-mail of any urgent needs or anything needing attention & Consults with the shoreside Fleet Technical Operations Specialist before planning or undertaking any large equipment installations or projects, or before making any larger equipment purchases. Receives all purchase orders and/or RFRs in AMOS as required & Issues and completes all maintenance work orders in accordance with the scheduled maintenance in AMOS. Performs related duties as required. These are not the only duties to be performed but required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.
