Anthony entered the financial planning profession in 1991 after a short spell in the Royal Navy (six years), initially working for/with his father in the family business. Over the years he has operated his own consultancy practice, worked for a national firm of accountants, a regional firm of financial advisers, and a national firm of financial advisers. "The Navy was great and I’m still a bit of a nerd when it comes to ships, history, geo-politics and all that kind of big picture stuff. I love it. Actually, it’s one of the things that really draws me into investments - the big picture. You see, in my mind, financial planning and investments are not just about the numbers or the flow of money going in or out of funds.
