Guest Service Representative
CurrentMaintaining my assigned section and ensuring a cleanly and safe area, including making minor repairs to slot machines, such as Bill Validator jams and refilling EZ-Pay tickets. With the primary focus of responding to slot machine lights and customer requests in a quick and timely manner. Educating guests on the different kinds of slot machines on the casino floor, and assisting guests in looking for a particular slot machine or denomination. Recommending company shows, restaurants, and attractions, and providing directions to guests. Resolving guest complaints, referring all matters unresolvable, to management. All while promoting and maintaining a pleasant level of customer service to all guests, including greeting, smiling, making eye contact and using the guest first name, if available. Enrolling slot players into Mlife Rewards Program, and achieving the necessary required enrollments. Other responsibilities include carrying large sums of cash for Hand Pay, Appeasements and making change, securely safeguarding the cash, then returning the correct amount of cash at the end of the shift to the Cash Recycler. Paying slot machine jackpots, while completing the required internal and federal paperwork (e.g., W-2G) neatly and accurately, and reviewing the State Collection System.
