I assist around the warehouse as needed, but my main role is as a “tag counter.” Essentially, I keep track of exact inventory counts for numerous parts/components of AMT products. I log them into a system and send the counts to a supervisor. Accuracy is essential in this role, and thus my focus and math skills are constantly utilized.

In this job, I primarily work to maintain the cleanliness of the recreation center exercise areas: the cardio floor, weight room, and other exercise studio rooms. I greet members and assist them with any concerns they may have. I operate largely independently, which encourages self-restraint and time management. However, cooperation and teamwork are still fostered as I coordinate tasks with my coworkers and share the workload.

I attended to various departments of the store. I assisted customers at the front with questions they had, as well as ringing them out at the register. In the Home Theater department, I leveraged my tech knowledge to help customers in the selection of televisions, audio equipment, and various peripherals. I also worked in the Computer department and leveraged my PC knowledge to assist customers in selecting the best laptop, desktop, monitor, component, etc. for their situation.

In this role, I maintained the cleanliness of theater auditoriums, restrooms, the theater lobby, and hallways. I would tear tickets for guests at the podium and direct them to the proper auditorium. I would work with other ushers to round up trash at the end of the night and bring it out to the trash compactor. Every shift, I would work in a team of ushers and managers to complete tasks efficiently.
