I contributed to the implementation of Enterprise Readiness Levels (ERL), a Boeing enterprise-wide method to continuously evaluate, capture, and mitigate risk in production programs. The ERLs are adapted from industry-standard manufacturing, technology, and integration readiness levels (MRL, TRL, IRL) already practiced in the aerospace and manufacturing industries. My team collaborated closely with GE Aviation to evaluate and influence the weight of the GE9X engine, for the proposed 777X aircraft, as its design matured. Designed and conducted static ground tests and in-flight tests to acquire noise emissions data of the 787-8 Dreamliner.
