Our mission at Digs With Dignity is to to elevate the lives of those transitioning from homelessness by providing them with a beautiful, dignified home. Volunteers can help support individuals and families who may be coming from a shelter, on the street, or living doubled up with family or friends by curating meaningful home spaces from donated furniture and housewares. We serve families that may not have any furniture or the bare necessities even if they do have a space to call their own. The fact is, most of us are closer to homelessness than you may think.

Designed, built, and led first Commercial Learning & Development function at this growing start-up biosciences firm. This included creating a 3-year learning strategy, hiring and managing a team of training managers, working closely with internal stakeholders to build the first Counsyl Foundations learning program, and manage departmental budget.This experience allowed me to solidify my passion for building and scaling Learning & Development capabilities from within startup organizations and was the impetus for starting my own business, Thoughtium, focused on creating great learning cultures from within emerging organizations.

I joined Astellas at a time of significant growth, as we were preparing for the launch of our first blockbuster in Oncology, XTANDI. My role was to build world class learning capabilities within the commercial organization.I built new training curriculum, established a 5-year vision for the L&D team, and completely redesigned the new Astellas Learning center in Northbrook, IL (see article below).

My time at Astellas grew my passion for learning in the corporate world. I spent several years immersed in adult learning principles and curriculum design, understanding today's adult learner, and building a world class L&D team.

- Designed and executed Closed Loop Marketing (CLM) project plans, ensuring measurable delivery- Led training and delivery of iPad and CLM selling tools to global sales and marketing clients

- Developed 10+ million dollar Orthopedic and Pain sales portfolios for the Chicagoland area- Managed 2 contract sales representatives with new "Coaching for Performance" certification

- Launched new digital selling platform to over 3,200 sales representatives- Co-authored "Collaborative Content Deployment" - a new protocol for digital content

- Developed deep product knowledge skills in order to facilitate competitive messaging to key clients- Ranked 1/70 in Cardiovascular business unit
