About Anthony Ferreria, Ed.D.

As a first-generation college student, I have experienced the transformative impact of higher education. I hope to use what I learned throughout the years to improve the lives of others. I have worked in education for over 20 years in the US and internationally. I began my career as an elementary school teacher in Harlem through Teach For America, but spent the majority of my career in higher education. Understanding the experiences of my students has always been at the core of my work. I have guided them in making important decisions as well as provided significant management and administrative support to students, faculty, and staff. I hope to further my professional aspirations and would like to connect with those who are passionate about ameliorating society through education or by other means.
