Diabetes UK is the leading UK charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of all people affected by and at risk of diabetes.Key Responsibilities: Successfully managed project delivery of partnership program with Tesco which raised in excess of £18M. Activities included but not limited to; project scope definition, planning, risk management, issue management, progress reporting, internal and external communications. The setting up appropriate project governance to manage the partnership and to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. To provide management reporting of the different project work streams through the use of monthly dashboards, project status reports, KPIs and issues. To produce fortnightly management and monthly executive reporting on project status and financial targets and develop existing operations support services to improve the overall interfacing between Diabetes UK with Tesco.

A varied and multi-functional role with overall responsibility to proactively lead activities in order to achieve strong operational and financial results within B2B and B2C promotion.Key Achievement:Successfully set up the Lewisham Citylocal online business management services where services such as website design SEO and marketing strategies were offered to local businesses. During the early part of the business, successfully listed over 40 local businesses for their ‘key word’ search terms to be searched on the first page of Google, alongside establishing key business relationships with Lewisham Council and the South London Chamber of Commerce.

Worked to successfully implement and manage the coordination of projects and their status by taking ownership of the SharePoint project repository, to capture project performance and inform senior management of project status and issues. Identified and facilitated project review project team meetings to maintain delivery timescales and schedules for all projects. In addition provided estimating, scheduling and risk management, support to Program Managers, by developing on-going support, effective governance and communication within the team.

The Orange Business Services banner represents Equant’s expertise in international IP networks, Orange’s existing mobile solutions and France Telecom’s leadership in business communications services.Key Achievements: Successfully set up and managed Business Improvement Plans (BIPs) for a number of leading ‘blue chip’ companies; resolving various issues across a portfolio of services which resulted in resolution and new contract extensions. Had overall responsibility and management of large UK outsourcing projects including clients such as Zurich and Axa, by working closely with project managers, third parties and key stakeholders. Within each programme ensured the establishment of appropriate governance and communication forums to ensure reporting and documentation were accurately delivered on time as well as responsibilities for project dependencies and issues resolution to meet different project timelines. Additionally, I established effective relationships with key providers, internal stakeholder entities and customers by undertaking regular reviews, reporting and monthly management meetings, resulting in improved overall satisfaction rating.

I was engaged with project managers to define the project procedures, resources and objectives, by the use of standardised project management methodology practices. By setting up the governance and communication structure to ensure effective reporting and documentation delivered accurately and on time. As requested produced project dashboards to report project status, financials and KPI’s to both internal and external stakeholders as well as managed the setup of a pilot test lab and trial sites with customer to support the successful migration.
