Responsible for leading the Portrait Product Portfolio Development Group and the ongoing development and delivery of this suite of products. These market leading customer interaction solutions included 4 key product areas; outbound marketing, predictive analytics, interaction optimisation and process delivery, delivered out of 3 regional development centres; Henley (UK), Edinburgh (UK) and Oslo (Norway). The product development team consisted of 37 full time permanent staff and was augmented by an additional 22 members of staff in PBBI’s development centre in Noida, India. This was a critical and high profile position within the organisation and reported directly to the Vice President Engineering.

Responsibile for running several concurrent projects; clarifying requirements, allocating and monitoring work and reporting back to senior management. Line management of 5 staff.

Led a team of 4 developers doing feature development on the DOC1 product. Work involved taking a technical lead on the product as well as organising the teams workload.

Worked on the core DOC1 product as well as the complimentary Message1 product. Windows based GUI development using VC++ with MFC and C with Windows SDK. Host engine work on numerous platforms, Unix (HP/Sun/AIX) as well as AS400 and MVS mainframe systems.
