Current-Practice focused on intellectual property law and patent preparation, prosecution, and litigation-Development of intellectual property strategies covering all forms of intellectual property (i.e., patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets)-Implementation of IP strategies by preparing and prosecuting both patent and trademark applications and advising clients on copyright and trade secret matters-Supporting intellectual property litigation to enforce those rights, including development of complex litigation strategy-Drafting complex patent applications covering a wide range of technical areas including clean energy, medical devices, construction technologies, and computer software; oversight of patent strategy and preparation of patent applications for life sciences and biopharma areas-Conducting patentability studies and prepared numerous infringement and validity opinions, as well as conducting Examiner interviews and prior art searches within the United States Patent and Trademark Office-Performing monetization assessments of patent portfolios to find licensing candidates, potential infringing parties, or determine whether assets should be abandoned
