Responsible for the management of corporate fundraising and all marketing activities for the JDRF Illinois Chapter. This entails working collaboratively across departments to ensure that the chapter-wide corporate development strategy and marketing and communications plans both support the long-term vision and growth strategy of the chapter.  Build relationships in diverse communities to promote and bring awareness to the mission of The American Cancer Society. Implement and oversee five fundraising events – goaled at $361,500 in the fight against cancer.  Manage multiple databases and data streams to effectively track progress with constituents, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and dollars per event.  Responsible for the single largest corporate donor relationship(Acuity Insurance) for Relay For Life or Walk/Run Events in the Midwest Division – $35,000 Relay For Life | $30,000 Walk/Run Achieved largest percentage increase over goal for a single event in the state of Wisconsin for fiscal year 2012 – 179% over goal. Executed the largest Bark For Life event in the Midwest Division, garnering over $13,744 – 305% over goal. Increased attendance for (1) Walk/Run event from 2,363 in participants in fiscal year 2012 to 2,815 in calendar year 2013. Increased attendance for (1) Walk/Run event from 422 participants in fiscal year 2012 to 536 participants in calendar year 2013.  Implemented (2) Walk/Run and (3) Relay For Life events of the 2013 calendar year equaling to 110% over goal. Achieved 103% over goal for year-to-date portfolio with (1) Walk/Run and (1) Relay For Life yet to happen.  Successfully increased single Walk/Run sponsorship from $24,000 to $30,000 through data analysis and return on investment.
