As Chief Executive, I lead an extraordinarily passionate and committed staff team tackling disadvantage in some of the most deprived communities throughout London, and bringing new, diverse individuals into the digital sector. At ELATT, we aim to provide a first class, transformative educational environment where young people and adults can learn new skills; gain professional experience; build their networks and progress in both life and work. My role as the leader of the organisation is simply to provide our greatest assets, our staff and students, with the direction, support and resources they need to achieve this aim.Through this collective focus and ambition, the organisation received Grade 1 (Outstanding) across all areas at Ofsted inspection in January 2015, our leadership and management was awarded Gold by Investors in People in 2013 and 2016; we achieved a top 20 position in the UK Best Workplaces in 2014, and Overall Provider at the TES FE Awards in 2016. In 2014-2015 we worked with 600 individuals, and 90% of our students achieved their qualifications, and 95% rated their experience as good or excellent. We have a number of excellent ongoing relationships with local business from both the corporate and SME sectors, including Morgan Stanley, UBS, St James' Place, CrowdSkills and Opus 2 International. This success in quality, partnership and outcomes has also enabled us to re-build our finances to a healthy balance sheet position.Over the next two years I am looking forward to working with hundreds more individuals, whether colleagues, partners or students, as they further develop both their professional skills and long-term potential.
