Tony is Assistant General Counsel, Intellectual Property at GreenLight Biosciences. In this role, he oversees GreenLight’s intellectual property. Prior to joining GreenLight, Tony was an intellectual property attorney at international law firms focusing on complex patent, trade secret, and trademark matters involving a variety of technology areas, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical treatment methods, software, and networking systems. Tony is a registered patent attorney and over his legal career has assisted clients with intellectual property litigation, prosecution, licensing, and strategy. A Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia Law School, he also served as a Senior Editor of the Columbia Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Tony began his career as a virology analyst in the quality-control department of a biologics company and earned his bachelor’s in Biology, Latin, and Classical Civilization from Boston University.
