PaaS Project Managment

Anthony is member of Desktop Transformation Project Team as Project Engagement Planners. The role is to gather necessary requirements to upgrade 26,000 workstations throughout British Columbia from Windows XP to Windows 7. This project is the second largest IT project in the history of British Columbia.

 Served as an expert in project management and Microsoft products implementation specialist, managed all aspects of moderately complex medium-scale IT projects, including project scoping, planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost. Managed an infrastructure upgrade budget of $1.1M.  Executed projects from the original concept through the final implementation in conformity with CCSBCY standards, expectations, and IT best practices. Managed organizational changes in an extremely complex workforce – C class management, staff, and an army of volunteers across B.C. Managed a Windows 7 refresh for 300+ PCs in nine (9) locations with more than 20% under time and more than 30% under budget. Managed Windows 7 and Office 2010 corporate training with for over 200 staff and over 100 volunteers in about 3 months. Managed a cutover Office 365 migration for approximately 600 seeds with all users functioning within 1.5 days. Implemented Lync 2013 for approximately 400 users in less than 4 weeks.

 Managed all project initiatives to deliver electronic and mechanical products to a $28.0M annual revenue client.  Championed all engineering activities and supported 56 persons (3 shifts) production teams. Spearheaded lean methodology to reduced total component kit by 21%, and reduced total cost per machine shipped by 19%.  Led and successfully completed 3 reverse-engineering robotic assembly projects for supplier qualification, receive awards for 2 assemblies, and slipstreamed into production with zero impact. Architected a proactive real-time first article process to eliminate lead time which became the standard of our entire business unit, successfully completed a multi-source system for all parts to shorten or eliminated lead time and reduce downtime for production. Sold manufacturing and engineering services. Published about 60 detail mechanical, electrical, and metallurgical assembly manuals out of almost 80 assemblies for the one product we delivered to our client Coinstar; conducted group training and certification to about 150 technicians on every aspect of the product cycle; created and maintained a certification schedule for 56 persons (3 shifts) crew; coached technicians on lean manufacturing methodologies for continuous improvement of product assemblies during Kaizen meetings. Trained Coach of 7 Habits; assisted in coaching over 100 people in a span of one year. Trainer of Lotus Notes MRP system and then Oracle’s MPS/MRP system; trained about 70 users in the span of almost two years.
