Tracked program progress and status, collected risk and issues across all teams, and coordinated and tracked the testing of all desktop systems in Manila.From Jul-08 to Jan-09, assigned as Business and Data Analyst to an Oracle 9i (star schema) data marts team. Member of KYC data mart team. Developed source-to-target maps from incoming sources to data mart and to Business Objects universe. Worked with business sponsors to define object hierarchy in Business Objects and several standard reports.Provided analysis to reverse-engineer existing billing ETL (little documentation existed) in order to switch to new version of billing system with new source feeds (completely new file formats) to the data mart. This included analyzing Java and PL/SQL code, documenting existing star schemas, developing data flows diagrams, documenting transformations and complex calculations in the existing ETL, documenting new mappings from the transaction code hierarchies into the billing and product hierarchies, and mappings across these hierarchies to convert historical billing data appropriately. Worked closely with developer to devise new front-end to feed into the existing ETL code and processes, making as little change as necessary (due to extreme time constraints places on the team).
