Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for the property portfolio.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding property accounting practices.Oversee accounts payable and receivable, and manage collection processes.Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial information and the efficacy of financial controls.Collaborate with property managers to develop budgets and financial plans.Conduct analysis and produce reports on property profitability, cost efficiencies, and market trends.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and management plans.Reconcile bank statements and manage tax filing processes.Liaise with external auditors and manage internal audits as necessary.

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for a group of investment entities.Complete day-to-day accounting activities, including posting journal entries, preparing account analyses and account reconciliations.• Assist with the preparation of work papers, consolidated financial statements, and footnotes for annual external audits and/or compilations, maintain the fair market investment valuation log• Record multi-layered upstream contributions and downstream distributions. Update impacted entities’ equity accounts.Compile tax trial balances and additional support as needed by outside accountants for the preparation of annual tax returns.• Communicate deadlines to manager and, with guidance, determine priorities.Assist with processing high net worth investor capital calls and distributions.

• Performs accounts payable activities, bookkeeping duties, prepares various reports on Sales Tax/Utility receipt Tax and Central State claim vouchers.• Oversight of collections and billing activities, write offs, salary resolutions. • Forecast and planning of Quarterly/fiscal year budgets for all utility divisions, including all city reserve surplus funding and general budget. • Manage all accounting related functions for assigned construction projects, assist project teams with any financial concerns, discrepancies, or needs related to utility infrastructure projects. • Maintain State Revolving Fund financing related to infrastructure projects and related reporting; Present profit and loss reports, forecasting and financial metrics to upper management, general counsel, and board of directors; develop analysis of solutions for increased revenue targets and decrease value of billing aging reports.
